The Grand Seduction is a small Independent film set in a Newfoundland fishing village with Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights, Lone Survivor, Savages). Huh? I have to give him credit for trying smaller films but at first, it's kind of startling. Quite simply, the town of Tickle Cove is looking to get back on its feet again by enticing a petroleum company to open up there, but they'll only be considered if they have a town doctor. This is where Dr. Lewis (Kitsch) comes in--don't ask how they convinced him. It's best if you just go along with it. All the typical romances and problems ensue, but still it's kind of cute. Especially if you're trying to avoid all the big screen garbage.
