Life Itself

Life Itself is a terrific documentary about the late film critic Roger Ebert. To the casual moviegoer, this might immediately seem like something for a cinephile who followed Ebert, and you'd be right. I watched Siskel and Ebert every week for more than two decades, even when they were on PBS. So I found it to be fascinating. There were juicy tidbits about Siskel and Ebert's long rivalry and ultimate friendship, as well as Ebert's Pulizer Prize, his life at the Chicago Sun Times, and his bout with cancer. Really great stuff.
