Snowpiercer

Snowpiercer is the most original film you'll see all year, maybe in years, but that doesn't mean it will resonate with everyone. After a climate change experiment wipes out most of the Earth's population, those remaining live on the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe--the rich are in the front and have all the luxuries they could possibly want; and the poor are in the back with nothing. Chris Evans (Avengers, Captain America) is Curtis, the leader of the rebellion. Evans should stick to these off-beat Independents because he's good--he reminds me of Michael Fassbender. There is a lot of graphic violence and Snowpiercer is definitely odd, but I liked it a lot. There is an unexpected ending to make the plot come together nicely. Take a chance, it's getting monstrous reviews.

3.9 out of 5
