Robin Hood

I don't care if Kevin Costner, and Errol Flynn before him, have done Robin Hood. I like Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott's take on this version. What caused him to become the "outlaw" he turned into? I thought that was interesting. The parts of Robin Hood and Maid Marion could have been played by younger actors. But that didn't particularly bother me. This film reminded me of Gladiator. There were a lot of battle scenes, however, Crowe was simply a soldier led by King Richard. As he begins to show his abilities on the battlefield, he becomes more well known. If you're not looking for the humor usually associated with Robin Hood and his merry men, you'll probably enjoy this adventure.
